When your Sim calls for Telehealth Psychotherapy, they will chat with a therapist for a while and then afterwards will receive a buff (which will probably be positive) and a good chance of having their negative buffs removed regardless of what traits or whatever caused those buffs. It won’t prevent new bad buffs from appearing, but you can always try calling again for more help.
