Ghastly Ghosts is a mod for The Sims 4 that makes ghosts more unique by changing their visibility, removing their phones, and adding new interactions.

Restricted Visibility

Ghastly Ghosts introduces a new feature that limits the visibility of ghosts. Now, only children, animals, and occult Sims (including custom occult Sims from Spinning Plumbobs & Lumpinou) can naturally see ghosts. Other Sims will need to either acquire the new "Sixth Sense" reward trait from the reward store, reach at least level 3 of the Medium skill (requires the Paranormal Stuff Pack), acquire the Paranormal Investigator License from the reward store or Guidry (requires the Paranormal Stuff Pack), or temporarily see ghosts during the holidays with the "Lifted Veil" holiday tradition (requires the Seasons Expansion Pack).

No Phones in the Afterlife

Ghastly Ghosts also removes phones from ghosts. This means that ghosts can no longer call you to congratulate you on your promotion or to invite you to a party. This makes ghosts more difficult to contact and adds a new challenge to the game.

New Interactions

Ghastly Ghosts also adds new interactions with ghosts. The new "Ask how Sim Died" interaction allows you to ask ghosts how they died. They will give you a humorous answer based on their cause of death.
